Renaissance of GfA screening machines

Since 2001, at the latest, Metso Minerals have extended their position in the market as a manufacturer and supplier of screening machines all over Europe due to the merger of Nordberg and Svedala. The well-established equipment is further developed under the official brand Metso Minerals at two production facilities near Mannheim. The supply of spare and wear parts is still ensured for such systems with the designation GfA or Svedala that are still very popular with many users. Even if a machine is irreparably demaged, Metso is able to help since two production facilities exclusively manufacture substitute machines. The company owns the old design drawings so that even component parts of series which were discontinued a long time ago and which in part had unusual dimensions can be reproduced (Fig.).
