Expansion of production capacity
With its innovative products for the sorting of raw materials and electromagnetic applications, the STEINERT Elektromagnetbau GmbH is one of the world’s leading companies. In late 2009 the shareholders decided to solidify and enhance this position by making a substantial investment in a new production building and new facilities to expand the production capacity – at the company’s site in the Braunsfeld district of Cologne (Fig.). This measure will increase production space from 5 000 to 7 500 m². The production building and the new plant equipment installed therein will expand the existing production capacity for electromagnetic systems. The investment has a total value of nearly € 7 million.
