In 2005 EMDE Industrie-Technik GmbH widened its established production range for handling bulk solids with rotary tube equipment for drying, firing, cooling and calcination, that is core components in mechanical and thermal process engineering. As part of a major project involving EMDE Industrie-Technik GmbH, in the Upper Palatinate region of Germany in 2008/2009, investment was made in a completely new kaolin calcining line in order to increase capacity.
